About the work

To celebrate two years of Vuptrox, I created this annual birthday recap by gathering the strongest highlights from our team throughout the year and shaping them into a cohesive, story-driven film. I cut the gameplay into a clear storyline and synced the pacing, transitions, and key moments tightly to the music to build momentum and emotion.

Alongside the in-game scenes, I also integrated real-life event footage, including clips from Gamescom where our team played live on stage in front of an audience. From selecting the highlights to structuring the narrative and delivering the final cut, I handled the entire process myself to capture what the year felt like, not just what happened.

Behind the Work

Created to celebrate two years of Vuptrox, this annual birthday recap is my way of turning a full year of moments into one coherent film. I gather the strongest highlights from the team throughout the year and shape them into a story-driven edit, built around music, pacing, and emotional build-up rather than a simple montage. To ground the recap in real memories, I also weave in real-life footage, including clips from Gamescom, where our team played live on stage in front of an audience.

The goal is always the same. Make it feel like a journey. A recap that captures the energy, the progress, and the personality of the team, not just the best plays.

Services offered:

Highlight Curation: I collect and select the most impactful moments across the year, balancing hype, variety, and narrative relevance.
Story Structure: I build a clear arc with setup, escalation, and payoff so the recap feels cinematic and cohesive.
Editing and Rhythm: I cut the highlights into a coherent storyline and sync transitions and key beats tightly to the music.
Real-Life Integration: I integrate event footage, for example Gamescom, to add context, authenticity, and a personal connection beyond gameplay.
